Chamber Symphony is a full orchestra co-taught by Mr. Spang and Dr. Walls. It is comprised of the top band and strings students at FQMS. Selection is by audition and director selection. It meets for special rehearsals in place of a student's sectional.

Trombone Choir meets after school on Mondays and is open to all students who play trombone. Former students and community members are encouraged to attend. This ensemble performs music for trombone ensembles, 3 to 8 parts, from Grade I through Grade VI.

Gold Jazz Band is the top jazz ensemble at Folly Quarter. The ensemble performs music of many styles, including swing, rock, funk, latin, and more. Membership is by audition only. It rehearses after school on Tuesdays.
